So as soon as I promised myself I'd update this thing every few days, I blacked out for almost two weeks. Go me.

I felt like saying that to a couple of people this past week... apparently I can still be a cynical wench. :)
What have I been up to...
December 31: Met up with some friends who came back from break, saw Benjamin Button, went to the USU basketball game, then dropped in on about six or seven different people/places for the New Year.
January 1: Drove from Logan to Sandy, Sandy to Ogden, Ogden to Wolf Mountain, Wolf Mountain to Ogden, Ogden to Sugarhouse, Sugarhouse to Ogden, then Ogden back to Logan with Kayla, Louise, and Trevor (though Trevor wasn't with us for the first, second, or seventh leg of the trip. More about that will follow.
January 2: Don't really remember. Oh, right, RA training. All day. Then Kayla and I went and had some fun at a party. :)
January 3: Woke up, couldn't find Kayla, walked home (about six blocks) and did resident check-ins. Went to dinner with Christy (SHE'S HOME!!!), then helped Nate, Brandon, and Tyler move into their new "Sax Pad". I was up til about 4 am talking with Tyler, which was nice. He's so great.
January 4: Slept in, went to do check-ins, ate dinner with Christy, the sax boys, Garrett, and Brad. I think we watched a movie after that?
January 5: School started - LOVE MY NEW MAJOR!!!
January 6: More new classes!!!
January 7: I only have one class Mondays and Wednesdays, so it's pretty sweet. I drove to Layton and back with Jared, and I got to see Trev. It was great!
January 8: After classes and staff meeting, Kayla and I drove Meredith to Salt Lake. We crashed at the apartment of some new friends of mine, then ...
January 9: drove Meredith to the airport. She moved back to North Carolina. :( We're hoping to visit her over Spring Break... we drove back to Logan, I worked from 10 til noon, went to my snowboarding class at 2:30, packed up my car and drove to Roosevelt... 4 hours. I got there just in time for the last half hour of an honor band rehearsal, I was pissy, and I was super homesick and lonely.
January 10: I went to Shari's house to make breakfast for Brandon, Ben, and Jaelise - the poor souls who decided to travel with Sherstin to play with our little band! We rehearsed for about eight hours that day, then did our concert that night. I'll post a link to the music when I get the CD. It was grand! That night, we all stayed at Jaelise's grandparents' home, which brings us to...
January 11: today. After waking up around eleven, Jaelise's grandmother made us breakfast and we left Roosevelt around 1:30 pm. We rolled into Logan around 5:30, and all was well.
So, in the past week, I put 1,058.4 miles on my car. I'm pretty sure I need an oil change soon...
